The Cult of Scientology receives up to 100% business rates relief in the UK, despite not being awarded UK religious or charity status. Please sign the petition for a law change to stop this. Bizarrely, they manage to get these tax breaks by saying that their UK operation is based in Australia - and have registered for them stating that they are a South Australian charity, despite not being registered as one there either. Confused? You will be.
